Join me for a live virtual 1.5 hour PIZZA Cooking Party. You will receive step-by-step instruction to take your desire to grow well-being for the planet into ACTION all while having fun.
And the cost is less than two-extra large pizzas.
Two dates to choose from!
July 30 or August 1
Limited Spaces Available
After you sign up for the virtual pizza party, you will receive a shopping list and recipes to make homemade pizzas from scratch.
You will also receive ideas for plant-based pizza toppings using seasonal produce. We all know how to make meat-based pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and ham). You can still make those pizzas but I have some delicious variations that will expand your pizza repertoire big time and lower your pizza water footprint totals.
This virtual pizza party is designed to participate as a party of one or to invite others to join you in your kitchen. We will provide you with an invitation template if you plan to make it a party within the virtual party.
During a 1.5-hour cooking class you will learn how to:
DID YOU KNOW A FAMILY OF 4 THROWS AWAY AN AVERAGE OF $1800 OF UNEATEN FOOD EACH YEAR? THAT IS 18,000 IN A DECADE!
I'm Florencia. I am an award-winning author of EAT LESS WATER, an activist, host of the How To Eat Less Water podcast, and mother of three children. I call Oxnard, California home, located between the Pacific Ocean and strawberry and lettuce fields.
My entry into water conservation began shortly after giving birth to my youngest child. I came across tips to save water during the drought (this was four droughts ago). “Take shorter showers,” one tip read. It inspired my idea to sell shower timers. “You can save 2500 gallons of water in one year if you shorten your long shower by 4 minutes,” I said to potential customers. I sold 80,000 shower timers.
BUT after I learned we each eat anywhere between 500-1300 gallons of water every day, I knew I was in the wrong room of the house.
The most far-reaching, effective place to save water and reduce carbon is in the kitchen and the farms, and factories attached to our ingredients.
All the rivers of my experience that including my Masters of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, my activism work, my time as a public school teacher, and my role as a mother of three children, merged to write my book EAT LESS WATER. The book went on to win awards, land me on television, and radio, and take me onto stages of all sizes to present the message. The book has been translated into Italian, is taught in classrooms from elementary to college, and continues to grow its influence around the world to inspire positive change. And now I am host of the How to Eat Less Water podcast.
The positive change I felt most intimately was my own.
My daily journey to the kitchen, which once felt burdensome and exhausting after a full day of work and parenting felt lighter. And eventually cooking the daily meal became something I looked forward to.
The act of cooking, shopping, and eating went from serving a purpose to giving me purpose. It has been the greatest reward gained from my path to Eat Less Water.
I can't wait to cook with you. Together we will grow well-being in your kitchen. Change comes one meal at a time.
WILL YOU JOIN ME IN THE KITCHEN ON JULY 30th OR August 1?
